1. They are on the trailing edge. Meaning the extend down towards the ground, not the sky.
2. I used to bend mine out of the way and monitor wear when I rotate wheels.
3. My 2007 9-5 Aero front brake pads do not have the wear sensors, just like Saab's have always been.
4. The last time I did front brakes and rotors on my 2000 9-5 I installed the pads reversed; hence, the wear sensors were on top instead of the bottom. All I got for this was a lot of harassment from Tibor when he installed new tires. He wanted to know whether he should install the tires with the direct-of-rotation set up for driving forwards or backwards to match the brake pads.
