Per my post a couple days ago - my fuel gage and DTE stuck on empty with the last fill-up. Stayed that way for two days and it went into the shop today for its 60K. Mechanic confirmed codes indicated bad sensor and only way to fix was a new fuel pump - $700(OEM). However, due to a couple responses I got here, thanks so much Mark and FranciosM!!!, I suggested that perhaps I should wait because I'd heard of others (here) with a similar problem, which turned out to be apparently a stuck float that fixed itself after awhile. Mech said he doubted it and that would be hard to have happen but readily agreed that it would be good wait and see if it did. On the way home from the shop, the needle suddenly but very slowly started to rise, took more than ten miles of mostly city driving for it to come up to what appears to be the correct reading. Guess I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens next.
