I asked the same question a while ago. You might put Cold Brook in search.
Although we live in CT, my missus bought her 9-5 used at Cold Brook. I think the CB price was $5,000 less than CT dealers were asking for comparable cars. Immediately after we took delivery the car needed a timing chain and serpentine belt, and we wondered if it had been a lemon law reject. But CB arranged to have a dealer here in CT get the car into its shop and, $4,000 of Saab's money later, the car was AOK and has been very solid ever since.
I'd say Cold Brook offers very attractive deals -- IF a GD Outastatuh doesn't consider the trek Nawth to be part of the price. When I asked about the lack of CPO, the salesman didn't say no, exactly, but wasn't encouraging and countered that it just adds to the cost if the car has much left on the original warranty. Not sure if I agree with that.
OTOH, I think that CPO is available, for a fee, of course (not absolutely, positively sure, since our last purchase was under factory warranty).
My impression, from checking their Internet site from time to time, is that, between CT and ME, I could buy a car at least one year newer for the same $$$ from CB.
Depending on how risk friendly you are, when we bought from CB the salesman offered to meet us in Kittery to deliver the car. (About three hours, Kittery to CB.) Don't know if they still do that.
I'd buy again from CB, but might go for the CPO, esp if the car was near the end of its original warranty. Maine's approach to used car regs is much more "Let The Buyer beware" than here in CT. So, yes, CPO would add to the cost, but it would also take away some of the risk.
