At this point I'll take any hint I can get. While I generally like my dealer, this is growing old. It's been happening off and on since August. This week's visit is the 4th for this problem. The dealer says they cannot reproduce the issue. I am understanding to a point, but...
I did not start to get annoyed until I started working with SAAB customer service. Can someone explain why when I have a technical issue with a product, I invariably get the least trained and lowest paid employee on the phone. To add insult, the first level of support at SAAB is a 3rd party call center. I placed to calls to them, they called back once. Their advice was take the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnosis. I explained that I had done so twice already and the diagnosis was "nothing wrong" and I did not care to go back to the dealer without some additional support. Of course that did not fly with them. I am approaching the point where I call an attorney. The problems did not start until the 2nd year of ownership so lemon laws do not apply.
This is my third SAAB, and my partner has our 4th. I love my SAAB, but I can get this kind of crap from a Kia dealer and pay much less.
Had a message last night from Andrea "garbled last name" at SAAB last night and called her back this morning. Now I am at the 2nd level of support and it is still technically illiterate. In my book that's criminal.
I love my SAABs. I am not real happy with GM/SAAB right now. The unfortunate thing is how much effort it will take to get this issue solved.
