I haven't seen anything from you lately and wondered if you were still even a Saab owner.
I have read posts on various boards regarding the availability of additional/alternative transmission fluids that can (or may) work in the latest Saab automatics. As more vehicles are prodeced by a variety of manufacturers that all require this 3309 spec fluid, I am not surprised to see additional fluids hit the market.
As long as the container specifically mentions 3309 or Toyoto Type IV, I can't see where they would not be an acceptable choice. Some brands only hint at the correlation, whereas the Castrol seems to directly state it.
BTW - I still am driving my 2000 9-5, now with nearly 225,000 miles. My wife is driving an '06 9-3SC with only 20,000 miles.
