Onstar changed to a digital signal recently and most of the older Saabs (2003 included I think) use analog. So even if you did subscribe the communications stuff in your car wouldn't work. Stick with what you've got as far as cell phone and stuff. As for the nav, it was available as an option 2004-2005, as well as 2006+, but the 2006+ nav units will not fit in the earlier models. It is possible to retrofit a 2004-2005 nav system in but you would need to run some wires and I think put a new box somewhere in the trunk. All of this would run you upwards of $2000. A lot of people on here have considered it but are scared away by the price. I have a Magellan GPS that mounts to my windshield, and I have to run the power cord down, and I agree it's not the best looking thing in the world. I just take it down and put it in the seat back pocket when I'm not using it. Most people agree that the portable nav systems have more features and are easier to use than most built in units.
