If this is your first time, I'd suggest doing one side first then the other. That will provide reference for how the retaining spring needs to be reinstalled.
From memory....
1. Jack up car & remove wheels
2. Remove Master Cylinder cover
3. Using pliers or a C-clamp, compress the old pads away from the rotor to provide clearance for removal of the caliper. Fully retract (only necessary on the side that has the piston).
4. Remove both bolts (aka guide pins) that fasten the caliper to the rotor bracket (they're under dust caps). On one of my Saabs the bolts were torx, on another I believe it was an allen head.
5. Remove the caliper from the rotor and suspend it from whatever suspension component is handy
6. Remove the retaining spring (pry end out of pocket)& remove the pads
If you're replacing the rotor:
7. Remove the brass retaining screw, and remove the old rotor ( Sometimes a few sharp raps on the center with a hammer is necessary to knock it loose of the hub)
Assembly is opposite of disassembly.
Don't forget to close the master cylinder before pumping the brakes back up.
