How would you proceed? Kind of long....

I have posted below about my "quasi" 60k service experience but I wanted to bump this for some advice on how I should proceed now.
The long and short of it is that I bought a 2000 95 V6 with 59k on it a little less than two weeks ago. I literally drove the car for only about five days, I don't even think I had put 200 miles on it, the ride and the engine were smooth. Now four days after spending a boat load on what wasn't a total 60k service my car just doesn't seem the same. The engine is much louder, doesn't seem to accelerate as well and it vibrates when it's in park, I almost feel like I am driving a completely different car.
If you remember from my earlier post I had the timing belt, roller, tensioners, water pump, serpentine belt and a couple other things done. The mechanic told me that one DIC needs to replaced and the spark plugs should be done at the same time too, thanks to this board I will be doing this job myself when my shipment arrives from eEuroparts:-)
So here is what I am wondering, should I wait until I do the DIC and spark plugs to see if the noise goes away?
I really would like to have Swedecar take a look so does this sound like something that can wait until he is back from vacation after the 16th?? I would take it to the indie that did the work but I could see him going to the DIC issue plus I really would like a second opinion on the car and other issues that I should pro-actively deal with. Thanks!!
