Where did the smoke puff from? Tailpipe, I'm assuming? There are definitely some things up with your car. For the multiple attempts to start I would replace your spark plugs. How old are they and are the correct ones? For the oil light, do you have sufficient oil on the dipstick? To check for turbo failure as a "Saaber" I would get under the hood and loosen the hose clamp around where the plastic air intake tube goes into the rubber boot to the throttle body. Pull out the plastic tube and look for oil in there. A coating is totally normal, but if it dribbles out or if there's a big puddle of oil you've got something going on with the turbo most likely. Ask your dealer for the specific codes they read from the CEL. AS for turbo replacement, there aren't many gaskets and hoses that with it. I had mine rebuilt for $1400. Places like eeuro don't usually have turbos. I would look on ebay for a rebuilt unit or if you can find somewhere that specializes in rebuilding them. IF that's your problem. I'm a little worried about your dealer's credibility seeing as they had you replace head gaskets on the V6? Do you know why they needed to be replaced? For the most part they are not a problem point on the V6. At all. Did you let it overheat or something?
