Thanks for the suggestions. I have included some of this info in previous posts, which were actually a while ago and I wouldn't ever hold you to it, haha. I wanted to keep this post as short and sweet as possible so people might read it and help me out. Anyway, I do know about the idiot mode vs actual mode thing on the temp gauge. I don't think it's in actual mode, but it's possible. I was going to have my indy double check that when I bring it in next week. I think it would move around more though while I drive if it weren't in idiot mode. The reservoir is filled correctly, with the correct mix of coolant etc, and the cap holds a tight seal. I do get the fans on low speed when I turn the car fully off and they come on in full force (loud as hell) while the engine is running with A/C on. Last year I had my indy look into it a little and he drove it, shut it off and measured the engine getting up to 240 degrees after shut down, (which coming to think about it and looking at WIS isn't THAT high). WIS says the boiling point is 268 degrees F, and the temperature goes into the red zone at +/- 264 deg F. That would make my day if it were just in non-idiot mode. Haha.
