People who post do so to solve problems, not to say "I am soooooo happy, nothing has gone wrong"
If you read the 900 board, lots of headgasket and transmission problems+ all the other issues with 15+year old cars.
After 3 900's, 6 9000's and the 9-5, 04 SW, the 9-5 is a great car, very few issues, especially 03+.
I think the 03 still needs the PCV 6 update, might be subject to the DIC recall. Other than that, most of the early year issues have been dealt with.
Stay with synthetic oil, just change it at 5K unless all your miles are highway miles.
I still have my 87 900 CVT, getting ready to replace the transmission, and a 97 9000 CSE.
The 9-5 is a much nicer car than either of the old ones
