I too have had a pilkington replacement windshield with excellent results. I think that the glass is harder and resists scratches and pitting much better than the oem windshield. I had it replaced at about 50k miles and drove it to just under 140k when i sold it with the windshield being pretty good after 90k miles. I now own a 2002 aero with the original wind sheild at 105k miles that is pitted to the point of being annoying when driving into a rising or setting sun. Iwould choose the Pilkingto over the OEM for replacement.
