We guessing here...... Posted by Herb Hirsch [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Are the Koni Sport Front Strut Adjustable?, steelixjr, Tue, 24 Jun 2008 13:28:16 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
You didn't provide the Koni no. which is right on the box, so we'll have to do a little guessing.
If the front struts are adjustable, the adjustment is done via a small tab that sticks out of the top of the strut.
This is accessible via a .75" hole drilled through the cover (shaped like a teacup upside down) at the top of the strut under the hood. It's easily noted by the 3 self-tapping bolts that hold it in place. Also, the struts should have come with a white plastic handle 2"-3" in diameter. It engages the small tab at the top of the strut.
Stop-to-stop, the adjustment has a range of a little moe than 3 full turns. One turn up from softest is a popular setting. It provides a stiffer than OEM ride and a big improvement in handling.
CONCLUSION: Before you drill any holes in the strut cover (shaped like a teacup upside down), post the Koni no. so we can do a little research. And, confirm whether the struts came with a white lastic knob.
