Saab does have a diagram with a specific sequence.
Bolts #1 thru #11 are the outside bolts:
#1 - Left side of engine, the bolt closer to the radiator.
#2 - Next to #1, but the bolt on the front side of the cover at the left corner.
#3 - 9 o'clock position. The center bolt on the right hand side.
#4 - Right rear, next to #3.
#5 thru #8 - continue in a clockwise pattern from #4, ending next to #1.
#9 thru #11- Front side of engine, going clockwise from #2, the last three outside edge bolts.
Bolts #12 thru #16 are the inside bolts:
#12 - at 9 o'clock position.
#13 thru #16 - continue clockwise from #12.
I would have cut-and-pasted the diagram from the WIS if I had a means to do so.
