And I could not be happier with it. At startup, you can go through a brief check of all 4 (5, if you have a standard wheel on your spare), including internal tire temps. I always seem to have a "slow leaker" that cannot be fixed conventionally, so this lets me keep an eye on it, and add air as needed.
THe Hella sensor won't fit on my spare, which is an "almost donut" spare. The wheel is the wrong shape. I need to find a wheel/tire combo that will fit in the well, mount the sensor and be the same diameter as the rest.
I got mine from Amazon. At the time, it was $179 (only 3 months back...), and it's up to $224 now.
Sensor installation was easy (I also did it when I bought new tires). Slightly harder was locating a mounting spot for all the electronics. The receiver is placed to the left of the ACC/Radio stack on my '02 Arc. I have the display sitting in the cubby below the seat heater controls. I take it out when I need to look at it.
It will beep an alarm if the pressure gets below a preset % of the "normal", and also if it detects a "blowout" (large loss of pressure in a short time).
You also have the ability to change the color of the display. One of the Oranges matches well with the 9-5 dash.
