sludge, made worse by Saab's preverse extension of oil change interval, unique to MY2005, presumably to compensate for the specification of full synthetic for Saab-paid oil changes.
Rear wheel camber, a situation that is worse for Aero cars and is easily corrected in most cases, if people just look.
Seating. Unless the car has the optional sport seats. Just my opinion.
At least, the car has new style SID, latest DIC and computer software. It features the trusty Mitsubishi turbocharger, though the engine output is detuned slightly. It has the "paddle shifters" if automatic (most of them are). 17" wheel and tire combo was a popular option then.
As for the 9-3SC (presumably it's the 2.0T) $19K is just a little bit on the rich side, price wise. With 55K, it's ineligible for CPO status and is off warranty. If the reduced cargo and rear seat room aren't an issue for you, it's worth considering a 9-3. They're far more lively in terms of handling and driving, and there really aren't any issues with the 9-3 cars. Seating comfort is something to consider. My 9-3 is a CV, which featuers different seats than the sedans and combis: the shape is about half way between standard and Aero seats. I like them very much, but as always, it's "your butt," not mine, that's at issue.
