So I had my windshield replaced today (02 9-5 aero) and when I called them last week to schedule the appointment i made a point to tell them I had rain-sensing wipers and that the sensor "looked through" the windshield. as i have read posts on this topic before
well.. i was just driving today after i picked up the car and it starts POURING, i switch it up so as the rain sensing wipers would work.. they dont..
when i got home, i took a quick look and i can see where it looks like they cut away or possibly that is how it was built a spot for the sensor and i can see the sensor.. it was pouring when i got home so i didnt take a hard look, but i could clearly see where it was...
I am going to give them a call tomorrow and see whats up, but has anyone had this experience after getting a new windshield and possibly know how to remedy the issue?
TIA!
