2004 v. 2005 changes I noticed.

I test drove a 2005 9-5 Arc wagon yesterday (I own a 2004 9-5 Arc sedan). I'm going to pass on it because I couldn't warm up to the grey interior (and I think I want to seek out one with the manual transmission, anyway). I noticed a few interesting "decontenting" features...
- The front of the automatic transmission lever (towards the ACC and radio) is rubber on the 2005. My 2004 has a fully leather-wrapped gear lever.
- The leather on the gear lever and handbrake was softer but somehow not as rich feeling as on my 2004. I also noticed this on a 2008 loan car I had not too long ago.
- There's a plastic "box" in the passenger's footwell. It's covered in carpet on my 2004.
Just some observations. Aside from the wheels on Arc models, has anyone else noticed any changes between 2004 and 2005? I don't really want to step back by buying an older car or one the same age as mine, so I'm really looking at 2005s... the '06s are generally more than I want to spend.
Not in any hurry to buy... it might be a year-long project since the 2004 has been a great vehicle. Just can't help but think how much more practical a wagon would be for my use.
