Plastic freezer bag works fine.. I think I used a heavy rubber band or a narrow strip of duct tape to hold it in place. Unfortunately, I did not get a Tech II diagnostic check before I assumed the ABS module was bad and sent it off to BBA for rework. The module came back, I reinstalled it, but the dashboard warning lights stay on. Since it's not Winter, I can't go find a nice slippery clear area to test the system out. My indy Saab shop did plug in the Tech II as a freebie to try and clear the dash warning lights, but they just came back on. His quickie fault code reading was completely improbable, or we didn't understand it.. "Rear check valve installed in reverse"..!!! He says they'd have to do more investigation (i.e. - I pay them..!), but he did say that their shop uses BBA and once in a great while, they do get bad rebuilds. If so, the rebuild is warranteed for 2 years, but I'd better get it definitively diagnosed as my inspection is due this month.. The brakes work fine, but unless I put blackout tape over my dash warning lights, the inspector may well give me the rejection sticker!!
