No just kidding, I remember. I wonder if it was the coolant bypass valve leaking... Pretty common. As for the oil consumption my 9-5 V6 consumes oil fast enough to put the oil level below the dip stick within the 5k mile oil change interval. I add a little here and there. I have some piston ring or valve seal issues on mine though I think. She might have a tired turbo. If she's anything like most women I know (no offense intended) she probably gets in, turns the key, and drives away. She probably wouldn't notice any blue smoke out the tail pipe when she starts it... I would get her an oil change and then show her how to check the level of the oil on the dipstick every so often to see how fast it's consuming it. It's pretty easy; all you need is a paper towel.
