I have my 9-5 arc wagon in the shop for 90k service today and I asked over the phone if they could do the Euro mode switch with the Tech2, as I am already spending $700 or so (90k service plus transmission fluid replacement since I don't know if it was done during the first 87k miles)

First guy said yes I am familiar with that, and it'll cost.... um lemee see.... $82 bucks! Whoa thanks but no thanks.

I called back later hoping to get the nicer service manager on the phone, she said the Tech02 was updated 6 months ago, and that option is no longer available! She said their software is 6 months old so it is due for an update soon, so hopefully SAAB will put back that option.

never heard of this before.... I checked with a local indie and they wanted only 25-30 dollars to do a tech 02 programming (I asked about a CD changer installation) but he knew nothing of Euro mode headlight options.
