but you can tell them to use full synthetic and would be charged accordingly but make sure they actually use full synthetic.
I have a 2003 also, and I specified full synthetic when it was at a dealer for service. The thing is the printed bill said "customer requested full synthetic" but the oil listed in the bill was the standard semi-synthetic and I didn't see anything showing extra charge for synthetic. So I guess the mechanic just plainly didn't look at the request and put in the standard semi-synthetic.
