By now, everyone knows it is solder joints on the ABS circuit board that goes bad.
I'm pretty sure though that the solder repair Bob in PA talks about is not the same place inside ABS module since I highly doubt that a Saab dealer would crack open an ABS module to resolder those places. Or maybe that's why they are not in business anymore.
Opening up the ABS module is a challenge in itself since you need to carefully saw or cut open the glued down lid and then close it up afterwards so that no moisture can enter the sensitive area.
It's better left to someone specializing in such repairs.
And as history shows, those places doesn't get the repair done right all the time either.
