Intermittent No Start/ Long Cranking... Ideas?

Clients '01 9-5 LPT automatic sedan with 101k. Replaced IDM 6 months ago for CEL and fault codes. Just replaced CPS sensor without any changes. No fault codes current, ran IDM test on Tech 2 multiple times (and during start procedure) no faults.
If the vehicle is cold, it starts right up all the time. The problem occurs only after a full temperature driving cycle and after it has been turned off for 30-45min. It will fire right up if you immediately restart on a hot engine. No other driveability problems or stuttering. Very slight surging at idle soon after being started. Cleaned throttle plate without change. When the vehicle does not fire right up, if you continue to crank the engine it does fire up in 5-10 seconds.
Im leaning toward the throttlebody, however usually see them go into limphome mode before any real driveability issues occur outside of surging.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
