Shift Lock Solenoid and other problem?

I have 2 intermittant problems that I believe may be related. I have a 2005 9-5 Arc with 21K. Problem 1 is that I put the car in park and hear a chiming noise when I exit. If I try to start the car, it seems that it is difficult to put the key into the ignition. Usually if I wait a few minutes I can put the key in and the car starts fine and can be shifted out of Park. Problem 2 is that the remote commands on the key won't work at all. If I enter the car using the key manually, when I open the door the same chimimg occurs and the same weird key difficulty takes place. When I am eventually able to put the key in and turn the car on, everything is fine, no error messages and the key remote functions normally. Months ago,I had the dealer replace the shift lock selenoid; it got suddenly noisy. After repair, it was quiet awhile then got noisy again. Then they refused to fix it again. Somehow/someway I think problem is related to that. Any ideas. Dealer says they have no clue and not to bring in as this is too intermittant to diagnose. Each problem has happened 2x or 3x over about a month. Thanks.
