So a tank of Mobile 87 octane Mobil has solved the problem, but the dealer is telling us to keep using it! The so-called service bulletin is just an email they get every spring and fall. I know that the Saab APC will correct for the lower octane, but how much performance and MPG will we lose? We can't always find Sunoco, But will try it. Our 3 9000 turbos never had such a problem.
TonyJ 04 Aero Wagon - 250 (maybe not) hp 2.3 l turbo.
