Well my belief is that something else was limp with the respect to those who created LHM.
My car went into LHM just a week or so back - wouldn't hold idle, stalling, I had to drive home with one foot on the throttle holding the rpms above stall speed and the other on the brake pedal for stopping.
It was a code 1231, reset the TB and things are good again. For over a year now I've had small surging and occasional LHM - but before last week went maybe 8 months without experiencing a 1230 or 1231.
As you can tell I'm not yet motivated to replace the TB - I did so when the issue 1st sufaced and got a reman - which was worse than my TB so I ended up sending the reman back and getting a refund.
I still at a loss understanding/appreciating the value of LHM when the freakin car will not even hold idle making it unsafe to operate.
