I would go ahead and replace the bulbs. Even though Xenon bulbs are supposed to last much longer than halogens, the DRL's on our cars really tire out the xenon bulbs. They develop a white film inside the bulb which limits the lumen output. I think you can find the xenon bulbs online for pretty cheap.
