I just purchased a 2001 V6 95. The car has an electrical problem in the when powering accessories (windows, turn signal etc) the radio will cut out intermittently. For example when you put down a window, accelerate, turn on a turn signal etc - the radio speakers will go out. The SID stays on and it desn't appear that the radio is turning off, it almost appears as if the speakers are shorting and not all of them - though sometimes all the speakers go out, sometimes it seems just the front. The "cut out" only lasts for a few seconds but is odd. Also the Check Engine light is on - code P0453 (EVAP Emission Control System Pressure Sensor High). Are these potentially related? I purchased the car and price was adjusted with these items known. My question is where to start in tracing down the electrical issues? the fella I bought it from indicated that they had replaced a power window in the back passenger window and it seems that the electrical issues happened around that time.
