Guys--I posted last month about my 2000 9-5 2.3. Basically, was driving along, made a turn, gave it a little gas and it felt like something just gave out on it and the CEL light came on. Car shut off and coasted to the side of the road. Finally got it cranked enough to sputter into a driveway and called the flatbed. Got it home and pulled codes P0300 and P1300. Sounded like a DIC, and got agreement on the board, so I bought a new one, installed new plugs (NGK BCPR6ES) and fired it up. Ran smooth for about 5 seconds, then back to the sputtering and shut off with the CEL illuminated. Pulled codes again and I'm getting P0300 and P1303.
Could I have gotten a bad DIC? Could it be something else? Is it time to tow it to the shop and let them fix it (70 miles away...). Thanks in advance. This board is great!
