I've been driving a SUV the past few days because of weather. SAAB has been sitting in the driveway in the meantime. At 24 degrees this morning, my Wife, who knows little about cars, said she cranked and cranked the SAAB and no start. Finally it took and then missed really bad but eventually smoothed out. She also said it sounded really bad (loud). Maybe lifters went flat? I use top-quality fuel, have recent plugs and DIC's. Car's never had an issue starting. Using GC Castrol oil at the moment - 0w-30. Any ideas why the beast wouldn't start?
