The Hankook Ice Bears are nearly an exact copy of one of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta models. It is nearly impossible to beat Nokians.
The Goodyears have been the tires included in Saab's Winter Tire package for a few years now and are also great.
What is the speed rating on each set? What are your typical winter driving needs?
I have moved up to H-rated winter tires because so much of my winter driving is on cleared, but cold, expressways at higher speeds. The H-rated tires (I have used two different brands now) don't seem to grip as well as my original Nokian Hakka Q's on ice and snow, but are much more stable at speed.
Either set will be a good choice. Although one set may match your needs better than the other.
