Hello,
I installed the Motorola IHF-1000 on our 2003 and 2004 Aeros. It was pretty easy. You need to buy the tool to remove the radio. You can buy at Walmart cheap (<$5). The tool is two U-shaped wires that go into the holes on either side of the radio. Push in and the radio slides out. That is all you need to remove. Pull out the wiring plug for the Onstar (it will be wrapped in black tape to other wires). Unplug and plug in your Saab harness that you pre wired to the Motorola unit. You can figure out how to run the wires for the Motorola unit and the microphone. Do a search "bluetooth" on this site and there is a lot of information.
If you email me I will send two pics from the Saab manual. You should have got that when you bought your harness. One picture is of the Saab manual and shows the cable harness (p/n 12801584) and how the wires decoded from the pin numbers.
If you use the included Motorola microphone (which I recommend) you only need to connect 6 wires from the Saab cable harness to the Motorola unit. You need to cut off the white 8 pin connector on the Motorola wire cable to make connections to the Saab cable harness using the Telephone butt connectors (26-22 gauge). You will not use the speaker from the Motorola kit as the sound plays through your car speakers. We have been very happy with our Bluetooth units.
Here's how I connected the wires:
Saab harness Motorola harness
Pin 1 Ground - black Ground - black
Pin 4 Mute - yellow Radio mute - yellow
Pin 7 Line Output Ground - blue/white Line Audio (-) blue
Pin 10 12V key controlled - red/blue Ignition - green
Pin 11 12V power supply - red VBATT - red
Pin 16 Line output signal - white/gray Line Audio (+) orange

Good luck!
Dan
