Frozen Lock ?

It is is very cold... 20ish F then it might be a frozen lock.
This sometimes happens when there is not a lot of lubricant in the lock barrel. if this is the case the safest is to get a hair dryer & warm up the lock. When it turns again normally, then get some graphite lock ease fluid ($4 at any car DIY store) & spray it into the barrel. Put the key in & turn the lock for a while to lube everything up. The graphite is messy if you over pour it into the lock. While you are at it, you might as well do the trunk & (lightly the ignition lock).
