when the car is running with the new battery you should have 13.5 to 14 volts. Do you have that? A charge battery at rest should be 12.5 or so, but not below 12.
what do you have?
If you don't know then........you have NO idea what is going on. You need voltage readings. If you don't have a DC voltmeter, go to radio Shack and get one for 10 to 15 dollars.
You cannot troubleshoot without knowing what is going on with voltage. Excuse me if you have posted this info.
