Monday morning my car started acting up, dealer left a message claiming my car was in Limp Home Mode, that they pulled a code for the Throttle Body and that I need a new one; was P1230 the only code you got for that? What warning lights showed up on your dashboard? And finally, which icon is the CEL? My owners manual defines it as literally the words "check engine" but doesn't give a definition for the symbol that lit up on my dash, the one that looks roughly like an engine block- kinda rectangular with an appendage on top, left and right
In my case, the "TCS off" light came on as well. I did not see the phrase "check engine" as described in my owner's manual (but my SID is no help since it is completely indecipherable).
What kind of rpm's does a 9-5 put out in LH mode? My car was revving at 3000rpm before I shut it off. Wouldn't the Limp Home want to keep the engine revs down?
Sorry for what's probably basic questions, but the newer my Saabs get the more of a PITA they become.
