Thanks. I guess they work same as windshield on the shaft. I will try myself first. Although, they have done this off and on. Seems recently they have stayed offset too high. I wonder if they just skip on the shaft if not properly tightened sometimes. Also, my older 900's will actually not even return at all for a while (sometimes both, sometimes just one). Sometimes all the way over and sometimes half way, etc. Eventually, they will return properly when cranking car up (not necessarily next time though). This seems like electrical contact problem somewhere. I checked the voltage at the clips and they had voltage coming to them when trying to operate but still wouldn't move so the contact problem must be within the motor portion itself. I imagine one day they'll just lock up. I wish these cars didn't even have them. Only need in snow and off road and I've either lived where there' sno snow or just ice. doesn't help with ice!
