Try to remove floor mat from under gas pedal.
You won't believe how many cars I see where the floor mat interferes with the kick down function.
This means the drivers are driving very carefully and don't notice it themselves.
Throttle body can probably create a bunch of different fault scenarios since the two potentiometers are crucial in sending data back to several computers of how much throttle is demanded and how much it opens.
But if it would be that bad, I would suspect it trigger more fault codes.
With today's cars, nothing is clearcut and we are all on a learning ride to see what can happen and how many different fault scenarios can be created by the same part.
