and why? Doesn't S mode at least partly make up for not having a stick?
I only drove a stickshift once ever, when my friend was trying to sell me his 9-3. I would never have thought to look at used Saabs at all, except for that, then I started looking at 9-5 sportWagons to haul around my stuff.
I picked out my SW because it had every option, and I do mean *every* (2003 Arc came standard with vented seats :D but the V6 is auto-only so I didn't have a choice there)
Just curious, I am obviously not coming from a stick shift lover's perspective but I am not biased either. My only experience with S mode is "pretty fun" and I have the heavier, slower-off-the-line V6.
