Officially bumper to bumper except the new car warranty exclusions plus the radio, battery, and telematics. New car warranty ends at 4yr/50,000 and then CPO runs until 6yr/100,000 miles from the in service date. Other than that CPO operates just like the new warranty. Saab roadside assistance benefits are included.

In practice, it excludes everything that the dealer/GM says is normal or does not exist. See the post below on the shark fin antenna which is just as much a body component as it is an onstar component. I see the shell as body and the guts as onstar. So if the antenna fails to operate, it is onstar and excluded. If the shell falls apart, it is body and covered. This thinking is beyond that of the dealers and GM or they are simply looking for excuses to deny coverage in any manner possible.

Bottom line: CPO will fix your car (barring any bankruptcy issues), but only if it meets the unwritten broken threshold. You will be denied valid coverage and have to fight for coverage on some issues or eat the cost. Some dealers are more cooperative than others, but the fear of a chargeback has even the best ones scared to cover what should be rightfully be covered.
