2 of these 3 has occured on my 2001 Aero over the years.
#1 do you have standard quartz hologen lights or HID? Could be a bulb issue if HID.
#2 Did you look at the 3rd brake light at the top on the rear window? If one of these 5 bulbs goes out you may get this warning. If you have one out replace it or change all the bulbs. You can buy a new inner unit and it comes with all the bulbs.
#3 the rechargeable battery INSIDE the alarm siren just runs out of recharging cycles and dies. You can replace the batteries, but a new one from Saab for $400 [I think] or just remove the unit. I did the last option and have not put it back in. There are instructions on this site to remove the alarm. It is inside the drivers wheel well. Remove the wheel and take the liner out unplug the alarm. The horn part will still work for alarm.
