No worries about airbag stuff. Turn the wheel 90 degrees in each direction and take out the torx screws behind it. I think there's one on the bottom too. Then the top and bottom of the steering column pop off and you can get to the switch. The little tabs break off on the base of the switch. I stuck a piece of vacuum hose cut to about an inch long to the back of mine and put the switch back in place. It provided enough resistance to stiffen up the switch. Good luck!
