To be copletley legal, I believe your Aero would need W or higher rated tires. H-rated are good for 130mph, V-rated for 149mph, W-rated for 168mph, and your Aero is computer limited to 155mph (Car & Driver achieved 154mph in their road test a few years ago). In practicality though, a V-rated tire is probably an acceptable minimum rating to consider for your car with US speed limits and driving.
How many miles per year? All expressways, all city streets, all country roads, percentage mix?
Since you already have dedicated winter tires, I don't agree with the Nokian WRG2 recommendations. These would be great if you wanted one set of tires for all year, but they are pricey which violates one of your parameters.
My experience with inexpensive tires is that you always forfeit something to get the low price. My recently replaced Cooper Zeon Sport A/S tires had no tread life guarantee, only yielded 35K miles, and were noisy after 20K miles. Their directional tread design limits tire rotation options which will contribute to increasing noise with age. But boy did they grip in all weather conditions, including light snow! No tramlining on the freeway, possess a W speed rating, and they are relatively inexpensive.
My current Cooper CS4 tires have a 60K mileage waranty, do not have a directional tread (so with proper rotation should stay very quiet their entire life), are V-rated, but exhibited annoying tramlining for the first 250 miles (now effectively gone). Unfortunatley, they are $30/tire more expensive than the Zeon Sports and, being a Touring tire rather than Performance tire, don't feel as glued to the road.
Yokohama Avids are loved by many, but I found a lot of reviews praising these tires which also included a comment such as "Great tire, but don't even think of driving on a snowy road." Wouldn't work for me here in Michigan, may not work for you in Central NY.
I really hate buying tires. Too many choices, usually very expensive, and a bad choice will haunt you for years.
