Carlo did a very good job summarizing the benefits of the Koni FSD shocks and struts.
My experience is that the Koni FSD's give you both better handling and a better ride. My recommendation against them would only be if you said you needed equipment for the track. On the other hand, if you're like many of us and you want crisp/firm handling when you push it a little...AND you want a smooth/comfortable ride on a trip...FSD is a good answer.
Regarding springs....information available is very pointed in stating that the FSD's are meant to work well with the Aero stock suspension......not a lowered suspension setup.
Finally, when you get ready to order call and confirm that they're in stock or there is certainty with regards to the back order delivery date. I got mine from Tire Rack; they were back ordered for only 2 weeks, and they delivered early. Many months ago another vendor had them on order for over a month without ever telling me that they were on back order.
