Consistent, if extreme

My own experience, confirmed by an excellent independent shop in Tampa, is that suspension stuff on the right side wears out long before the left side. That said, tires scalloped to the point of scrap in just 10,000 miles is a little extreme. I've had Nokian performance tires - most recently the symmetric NRYs, and they seemed to hold up decently, but also seemed a little more sensitive to camber wear than the OE Michelin Pilot Primacy. At least I was able to get a couple of them "flipped" on the rim to even out the wear.
Perhaps your right rear shock was totally dead during the whole time you ran the Nokians, and the wear pattern developed in just the 5000 miles each was on there. Like I said, my experience was that the Nokian NRYs were more sensitive to suspension faults than maybe some others had been.
