BBA remanufactures/rebuilds electronic components such as the SID, ABS Controller, and Throttle Body. You can find them on ebay or by going directly to their site at: http://www.bba-reman.com/us/index.aspx . There are other rebuilders - BBA seems to be the one you hear about the most.
The Limp Home Solenoid is located on top of the Throttle Body on the rear passenger side. It has a two wire connector plugged into it. When the computer detects incorrect voltages in the throttle control system it will activate the solenoid which causes the throttle spring to catch on a plastic tab and effectively limits the throttle from openning. When this happens, the car will only go about 20 miles per hour (if at all) thus it's called "limp home mode".
When in Limp Home Mode the CEL will light up with a throttle error code stored. If the throttle spring is reset and the error code cleared, the car will be drivable in many cases unless the throttle body has failed to the point of being inoperable. At that point you will have to either have the throttle body rebuilt or replace it with a used or new one.
If you search this board for either "limp home" or "throttle body" you will find a wealth of information and probably better explanations than mine.
