This is a widely-debated issue ... long story short, you can run either plug.
The 6's are good for short distances and easy starting, the 7's are better for lots of highway miles and those with HP-upping mods. Platinum plugs are recommended for Aeros, but many people use the copper plugs for supposed performance gain - at the cost of spark plug life (replace copper ones ~every 10k).
I've tried copper and platinum, 6's and 7's, and the only difference I actually notice in my 2k2 Aero is the 7's don't always start as easy as the 6's.
