Hood alarm sensor, hood can’t close

I noticed my hood is not closing properly so I pulled the sensor. I think the dealer must have messed something up when they replaced the brake booster as I’m guessing parts in this area had to come out. I can’t tell if it isn’t connected properly or if something is bent/broken/missing.
At first I thought I might be missing the absorber PN 4646691 as the upper portion of the bracket is not secured to the hydraulic unit on the inner side. I can’t tell from the EPC how this should all be connected. I have a nut, 7977952 and the support pin, 4646683. Then the support pin is not secured to and just moves around in the hole on the hydraulic unit. The support pin appears threaded on both sides on the EPC, but mine is smooth on the side that fits into the hydraulic unit. Is the absorber a rubber part that just holds it all together with friction?
Then, I notice that on the outer side I see a big rubber absorber looking piece that isn’t in the EPC. It looks like when the dealer pulled the hydraulic unit, they put the wrong hardware on each side, left off the plug (PN 4333563) from the outer side (probably did a litle paint damage forcing that all together), and now I have a bent bracket.
Can anyone post a picture of their car? Can one fix this without removing the booster or hydraulic unit…it seems very tight. Does the brake fluid have to be drained to pull the hydraulic unit? I hope the stress on the hood and the bracket hasn’t permanently deformed any hood parts. The bracket seems bent out of shape.
