Its pretty common to have some oil residue in the inlet pipe and hose.
The thing to look for is a puff of smoke when first starting the car in the morning. When the turbo seal starts to go, oil will seep past the seal on the exhaust side when the car is off and when you first start the car in the morning, the oil will burn in the exhaust system and since the catalytic converter is cold, not all of the oil will burn off, so you get a large puff of blue/white smoke.
If you really want them to replace the turbo before the warranty is expired, I would tell them you get a large puff of blue smoke when first starting the car in the morning. Most techs aren't goin to wait until the car is cold again to verify and will just replace the turbo.
Since you are almost out of warranty, start making a list of things that you notice. Like noises in suspension or vibrations in engine or oil leaks. That way they will look at things a little closer and replace them under warranty. Also check over your emblems and drivers seat side panel. Check all the pixels in your SID (SAAB info Display) and ACC (Auto Climate Control) panels for mixing pixels. You may just want to say that the pixles are missing intermittently to get them replaced now. Make sure you climate control system is working good. Since you have a wagon you want to make sure the rear hatch gas springs are not weak or leaking. You can pull down the rear headliner to check.
The best thing to do is leave the car with them so they have the time to look it over closely. If someone waits for the car to be checked over or repaired, the tech feels more pressure to hurry and get it done, so its always best to leave the car at the dealership.
