Hello, Someone mentions 'environment' and it gets labeled "BS" by people. That's interesting. Aside from mileage, environmental considerations include 1)Component recycling/material choises -it's not 'free' to throw a car away. Also, the various materials in a car produce differing levels of polution during their manufacture. 2)Power plant type -electric, fuel cell, gasoline/deisel, regenerative and hybrids -these choises fit a vehicle to its owner and to its intended uses. Cars will last longer and we'll all have nicer ones when we can equip a vehicle more appropriately. 3) Companies acknowledged the necessity of impacting the environment less harmfully years ago. There's a chance they enhanced their appeal to stockholders by limiting the poisons and trash they produce. It's funny that style, power, financing and sex appeal predominate car ads. Look how well "business as usual" has done. Having to manage/reduce the destructive results of what we do is a good thing. Can you defend labeling environmental concerns as "BS"? May I blow cigar smoke into your child's face? It's not 1946 anymore. Respectfully, Kira
